One of the most important roles of the school administrator is that of school strategist: making sure every administrative decision is aligned with the goal of creating a positive learning environment for students, teachers, parents, and other school citizens. Regarding school safety issues, this often means balancing an individual's personal freedom with creating a safe environment for everyone, and establishing rule and regulations that are communicated clearly and are fairly enforced. Administrators need to develop and implement policies, identify and allocated adequate resources (such as training workshops), and maintain partnerships with local community leaders and law enforcement.

For this audience we will soon offer online learning materials that educate schools administrators on the powerful ways they can collaborate with school personnel and the greater community to create safer schools.
